The Kingdom of God

This is a reminder, just in case you, like me, often forget: the Kingdom of God is not found in the fast, the powerful, or the flashy. It’s not found in arrogant, frantic, or formulaic thinking. 

It’s found in the simplicity of haircuts, the attentiveness of deep conversations, and each person showing up with whatever they have to ensure that everyone in our community, no matter their status, experiences the good news of Jesus. He is good. He has not forgotten us. He wants to set us free.
